From The Archives: Talking Trust Culture with Dan Roden

We’re taking a break this week to spend time with our families during the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ll be back with a new episode on December 13, 2019.

This episode was originally published on August 23, 2019.

The business world is often thought of as cold and calculating. The only purpose employees serve is to make widgets and check items off a list. When push comes to shove, employees are cut loose when finances are tight. Employees are scared to reach out and ask for help for fear of being seen as weak, thought of as less, and someone else taking their job.

There are those that are trying to change it. More and more are talking about building a culture of trust within their business or organization. The key things with a trust culture is the ability to be honest and vulnerable in order to make yourself, your team, and your org better. Dan Roden is one of those people and he joins Jim and Jason this week talk about what trust culture means and how to go about building one.
