Ensuring Remote Work Does Not Become Toxic

Remote work has become the norm for office workers over the last 9 months. Many will be working remotely full time, or the majority of the time, for another 6-9 months.

Those that had been working remotely in the years prior to 2020 experienced a great deal of freedom to design their day. Lately, however, we’ve started seeing companies turning the remote work setup into a bastardized & micro-managed version of the office.

How do we ensure that remote work does not become toxic and that people are able to retain the level of autonomy and freedom they’ve been seeing?

On this weeks episode Jason and Jim discuss what they’ve been seeing with remote work, what they believe employees & employers should embrace, and what they should see companies avoid.
